A limerick a day, keeps the laughter in play.

Fooling away the day,

could easily be here to stay.

It becomes a state of mind,

a very pleasant kind.

While "hunkered down" here we stay.

Keeping busy and clean in hectic India. Stay safe, well, and happy.

Nice lines to keep oneself positive and engaged.

I am already engaged in cleaning the floors, washing the kitchenware and platform, etc., washing my own clothes, cooking food, and other activities.

I love your positive character Demas and keeping busy is the best way to spend the day. I also like the sound of those lemon/coconut/chip cookies with a nice cup of tea. Take care.

Lorna, your name has to be a movie studio pseudonym; its even poetic!

My wife has caught up on all the items that needed sewing, and even made a double batch of lemon/coconut/chips cookies. I am trying to catch up transferring photos from 31/2 x 41/2 hard disks to CDs. If this keeps on, there are always (1) sorting coins for the coin collection, (2) adding stamps to the stamp collection, (3) the gardening for exercise and veggies, (4) shredding useless accumulations, and (5) writing. Not necessarily in that order, for the gardening won't wait much longer. I just photographed a local castle for my recent Hub. Busy.

I'm still working from home Demas, with mental illness at an all time high. However, I am finding time to do all the little things I kept putting off, touching base with family and reconnecting with old friends. Fooling away the day never looked so good. Your poem made me smile. Take care and stay safe.

Always some advantages wherever you look! We have to keep to the positives. Some people definitely need reminders to keep their distance, even now after all these deaths - unbelievable!

We will have a hard freeze tonight, at least down to 29 F. Still brrr. We went briefly to the store for about six items we wanted. Time will tell whether that was okay, or foolish. Stay safe. A local business sent us a "Keep Your Distance" button to wear. Good advertising, for we will think of the merchant each time we see it, or someone comments about it!

"Be cool, but keep warm" seems good advice for the day.

We've had high temperatures for a week but back to normal for the season at the moment. However, sunshine still rules though the north wind has increased. It still looks beautiful!

Me, too. Lots of photos to share. Plenty of time to write, and prepping the garden (when it's not cool and windy like today here.) Right now it is just 40 F., and lower with the wind chill! It's air from Canada and the Gulf of Alaska, brrrr.

Good, light-hearted stuff to boost our morale!

I'm enjoying the lockdown in lots of ways but I miss the grandchildren (though I can see and speak to them on FaceTime). I am finding lots to do and much of that is fun, such as getting through my pile of reading books and catching up on sorting through boxes still in the loft - I'm finding new things every day!
