Limerick - The Woman Who Squabbled
The Woman Who Squabbled
There once was a woman who squabbled.
Her head when she did was as bobbled.
No matter her rant
she'd frequently pant,
but her logic has never been hobbled!
Wooing To No Avail
There should have been more to his speech.
But loving words were beyond his reach.
Woo her he would,
If only he could.
His soft words were like a chalk's screech.
Day Late Excuse
It's not I'd forgotten our date:
the reason I'm here a day late.
The problem you see
was not simply me.
My wife told me hers couldn't wait.
