Loneliness and Solitude
The sky can be gray
Or blue but always gray
I have no place
The sunshine
Cannot warm the chill
Of saying
“If only “
When I am lonely
Every disinterested face
Accuses me of difference
Human alien race
Where always wrong
I don’t belong
When I am lonely
That the sky is
Continuous change
An object lesson
The sunshine
Nurturing rays
I say
“Thank you”
In my solitude
I am eager to see
The physical existence
All my faces
Reflecting facets of me
Happy just to be
In my solitude
In loneliness
I am alone
In solitude
I always have
My own
Company
