Loni Love is a standup comedian, actress, and daytime talk show host. We can also add the title of author to her profile. The 46-year-old former electrical engineer is now a television personality with a successful career in comedy. In 2006, she was the runner-up on Star Search. She was among the "Top 10 Comics to Watch" in both Variety and Comedy Central in 2009.

Love is currently one of the co-hosts of Fox and BET's daytime talk show The Real. She works alongside Jeannie Mai, Tamera Mowry, and Adrienne Bailon. When the show premiered on July 15, 2013, Tamar Braxton was also one of the co-hosts. However, she was fired from the show after the season ended May 2016.

Loni is a regular panelist on Chelsea Lately, and on Dr. Drew's Loveline, and Tru TV Presents World’s Dumbest. She is co-host of the radio show, Cafemocha. Love belongs to a small club of just a few top female standup comedians who tour nationally. In the past, the comedian has performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Comedy Central, and other television shows.

The comedian is able to relate to almost everyone she meets. Even though she is happily single, she gives advice about love, dating, and sex.

Loni Love's Book about Love

It might be ironic that the author about love is named "Love." However, that is her real name. In 2013, the same year Loni received her hosting gig, she released her first comedy advice book.

Love Him or Leave Him But Don't Get Stuck With The Tab, published by Simon and Schuster, is a relationship advice book written in the style of the comedian who gives advice about finding and keeping love.

Loni reminds readers to put themselves first because that's the path toward lasting love. People who have read the book say it is a laugh-out-loud, no-nonsense relationship guide.

Love Him or Leave Him, But Don’t Get Stuck with the Tab is a book where Loni Love offers guidance for all women whether they are single or married. The writer delivers answers to their relationship questions. In her book, Loni insists that everything would fall into place if women would make themselves the priority.

What People Say about Loni Love's Book

Loni's book has received positive reviews from many people; especially from other comedians and friends. They admit that her advice is funny, but it is practical. Her advice is for readers from every walk of life. The advice is on everything romantic from the first meeting to getting married. There is also advice on how to break up with someone.
