Love Sincere
As I caress my locks and twirl
Time’s rapture passes in a whirl
My poems prepared from wisdom’s pearl
Are shared in rhyme with he who knows
That from mind to heart we did go
As the current of rivers flow
On the wings of words that bridged our souls
And brought us to shore where seeds were sown
With nature’s rhythm feelings did grow
In both our hearts, into a rainbow
Where they turned not into a pot of gold
But into a gift that can’t be bought or sold
How wonderful the world can be
When we can feel what we cannot see
Too far away and yet so very near
Our hearts are bound by a love sincere.
