MANY ANGELS
How many angels~
Do I see~
Watching over thee? ~
I see a fleet of~
One hundred and three! ~
Be at peace my friend~
They are here for thee.
Their wings shimmer~
Pointed and curved~
Bright with soft yellow~
Each feather outlined~
With a fluffy ruffled fur.
The glow of their halos~
Alternating gold, silver and pewter too~
Tilt as their perfect faces~
Look down upon you.
Their robes are draped~
From head to toe~
Each a different color of~
A fluorescing rainbow.
Cinched at each waist~
A belt of fine spun rope~
That sparkles of tiny glitter specs~
Woven with hope.
Their skin tones so pure~
As different hues of color never seen before ~
Seem to radiate love with no demur.
Oh how their bodies circle~
Your bed with great warmth~
No evil can touch you~
They protect you from harm.
Their arms are lifted~
Slightly bent inwardly~
As they praise the LORD~
And do HIS bidding so carefully~
They sing in a high pitched whispers~
That only they and GOD understand~
But innately we can know~
It is healing prayers that are at hand.
So relax my friend~
Take solace in this reflecting time~
For it is an occasion of believing~
Of which is promised to be yours and mine.
How many angels~
Do I see~
Watching over thee? ~
I see a fleet of~
One hundred and three! ~
Be at peace my friend~
They are here for thee.
