And Mary goes round and round,

making that merry sound,

taking off from the ground

safe and sound on the Merry-Go-Round.

And Mary goes round, and round

with all them dragons and unicorns,

with all them beasts without horns...

Go Mary! Go round and round!

And Mary goes round and round

and if the Devil was here she would yell:

"You could ride me straight into Hell

if we only kept going, merry go round!

And Mary goes round and round

and there He is, eyes cold as the moon

looking at her, knowing that soon

they both will go merry, go round!

And Mary goes round and round,

making that merry sound,

taking off from the ground

flames bursting from the floor

and Mary screaming: "Please no more!

No more merry go round and round!"

But Mary goes round and round

and disappears, making no sound.
