Misty haze - Nature poems
Misty Haze - Spring is here!
Warm days are here again. The trees are slowly and shyly putting out fresh leaves and flowers and as I took a walk this valentines day, the love in my heart was multiplied by the sights I saw around me. There were carpets of hyacinth everywhere, the sky blue-purple with the jacaranda blooms. It seems that this February day was just made for me. Days like these fill me with the awe of God! I am so grateful to Him for such beauty around me. Even the saddest of hearts would leap with joy at such sights. How great Thou art! was what each heart beat said as watched the sun set on that day!
Misty Haze - Jacaranda tree
The jacaranda in bloom,
My sky takes a hyacinth hue,
Spiralling blooms fill my senses anew,
With the hope born of beauty!
Blue violet skies,
Cold Winter’s demise,
Now purple bright,
A wondrous sight!
Lattice of dark branches,
Roads towered with arches,
Purple carpeted streets,
Splendid February scenes!
In this land of sunshine,
It is truly spring time!
The heart leaps with glee,
Its the time for fantasy!
To recline under the bowers,
Delighting in purple showers,
Senses roused by swooning flowers,
Made frail by the impassioned kiss of Zephyr!
Like Love's first touch,
An exhilarating rush,
To be caught in nature’s sweet embrace,
In her misty purple daze!
