Moonlit Beach Kisses
Whoosh~
Go the waves~
As the moonlight glistens~
I am oblivious to these senses~
As you hold me tight in your arms~
Often now this memory is gratifyingly reminiscent.
We were with friends~
Gathered on a dark beach~
I was fifteen when our eyes met~
No one else existed~
As it was for us kismet.
As we walked away from the rest~
I swooned~
Under your spell~
You so exotically handsome~
Tall, blonde, and blue eyed~
For you I fell.
You kissed me passionately~
As you held me tight~
The damp of the sand~
To our bare feet never impervious~
Only your face I could see in the moonlight~
As more zealous grew your endless kisses.
My head spun~
As if in another world~
You kissed my neck~
Never had I felt such painful ecstasy~
Unyielding I wish the feeling be forever~
Who could of known~
For me this would be~
An everlasting realistic, mystical fantasy.
You made me feel so special~
With arms around me~
As we walked back to the others on shore~
I felt flushed~
I am sure I blushed~
As others wondered what we had done?
What we did was not~
Typical~
But Oh my goodness! ~
What wonderful feelings stirred~
In these moonlit kisses~
Feelings of fervor irrefutable~
I often still miss this.
Later as I laid in bed~
I stared at plastic illuminated stars~
Stuck to the cottage bedroom ceiling~
Knowing our vacation ending~
Would keep us separated and afar~
And I dreamt of you~
And I dreamt of you~
And I dreamt of you.
As time went on~
I have grown into a woman~
Of considerable years~
Never did I see you ever again~
Yet those moonlit beach kisses~
Always in memory will remain~
And I dream still of you~
And I dream still of you~
And I dream still of you.
How precious your sensual memory~
Continues to haunt~
I savor the craze we once felt~
A Sweet exciting romantic treasured time~
I visit there still~
Feeling you again~
And I think of you~
And I think of you~
And I think of you.
