My Confession (Redux)
My Confession
K.S., where ever you may be at this moment, know that I miss you and think of you. <3
Take a walk with me, not so far from here
And the wind whispers softly, as the sun warms the soul.
I will miss your smile, the eyes that look inside.
I was broken, but now a little more whole.
Pass it on, give it away.
It’s all you’ve got just for today.
A little peace, a sense of serenity.
I know you feel it, you belong.
The weight is lifted, feeling strong.
I hope our paths do cross.
I hope it’s not too long.
Til I see you again.
The hardest part to say, what you meant to me.
The hardest thing to do, to walk away from you.
Tomorrow’s uncertain, I scream internally.
Wishing time had healed, a hurt inside,
And all my plans had worked, for you and me.
Pass it on, give it away.
It’s all you’ve got just for today.
A little peace, a sense of serenity.
I know you feel it, you belong.
The weight is lifted, feeling strong.
I hope our paths do cross.
I hope it’s not too long.
Til I see you again
I would hold your hand, I would lend an ear.
And I can tell you everything that I thought none would want to hear.
Share the feeling, voice may quiver. Put the past where it should stay.
When your life has brought you sorrow.
Start it over, brand new day.
Pass it on, give it away.
It’s all you’ve got just for today.
A little peace, a sense of serenity.
I know you feel it, you belong.
The weight is lifted, feeling strong.
I hope our paths do cross.
I hope it’s not too long.
Til I see you again.

My Confession, I was so interested in this title and you wrote this with such great meaning.
Love this poem, very moving and you can feel the emotion. Sad but hopeful.
Beautiful poem, Beth. Thanks so much for sharing it. It reads like lyrics to a song-ever think of putting it to music? Rated UP/Beautiful-like you. Hugs.

Hugs from Alberta
A beautiful poem filled with so much emotion.
Thank you for sharing.
First, thanks barbergirl28 for sharing opening a door. Thank you Beth100 for sharing these sentiments further opening that door. The poem, for me is reflected reading the comments, which allowed me to see old friends. A neat feeling. And, thank you again for the gluten free hubs. Remember to smile and have fun, fun, fun, , ,
That was beyond beautiful and very strong. Loved it!
beautiful poem
Beautiful Beth!
this touched my heart because it fits my life...it is beautiful
I had one or two of those "partings" in my single days. Ultimately, it was the right thing but I sure did want it to go the other way. Nice work! WB
Thank you for this lovely poem. It strikes me like it might be song lyrics (of which I have written quite a few). I enjoyed your creative talents. Well done! :-)
A wonderful poem from a wonderful heart.
Ouch...A Heartfelt Poem of the long wait till we see the ones that we miss...once again. It is hard for words to help a loss, but you did a great job with this...with words. Peace to you in the pain of your loss.
"When your life has brought you sorrow.
Start it over, brand new day."
A Powerful line. I hope these words that you said in your poem help...if even in a small way...to bring you some small peace with your loss. God Bless!
Beth a very applicable piece that can widely fit a life open to spreading smiles and good will, I expect it will fit most folks from a variety of angles, I voted it up and awesome as it made me reflect a bit and I think I'll read it a few more times, thanks! dusty
Wow, I had no idea that you that anything like this happened to you to where you loss someone close to you. I guess it's my own fault for keeping out of touch for so long. However, it sounds like you are trying to move on, and I hope that you'll be okay. As always, you've written a well presented hub, and one that definitely speaks from the heart. Thanks for writing this, as I enjoyed reading it.
Hi beth - this certainly sounds like you are trying to heal yourself and are on your way. I sincerely hope all is well and this piece is well written...thanks
Beautiful and very moving. I'm sure it is very personal to you but anyone can read this and relate it to themselves somehow. Your hub elicited an emotional feeling for me and probably for anyone else who has read it. Well done. Voted up and beautiful.
