41 "A Star Fell"- (a poem)

Updated on April 12, 2012

Short and sweet.

A Star Fell

One evening I was down by the sea,

When I saw something and was going to flee.

A star from the heavens fell and gave me a start,

It fell to earth and landed in my heart.

A bright fallen star is what you are,

Where you landed was not too far.

You descended from the sky so blue,

I picked you up, and then I fell for you.

Your shining was with a love so very bright,

I fell in love with you on that very night.

Hi Shady, Thank you. I guess when we are married we tend to let the thoughts slip a little. I know that they appreciate it once in a while. That goes both ways too. Thank you for the vote too. Greg

Precious discription of falling in love. - Reminds me of a song

"Find a falling star and put it in your pocket - save it for a rainy day." (I hope I remember it correctly)

Love in your heart doesn't allow room for pain and hate.

      Here's to your inspiration.
