Fishing

Men peacefully fish

River slithers into lake

Birds glide on sun rays

Source

Cold Lake

Cold still lake reflects

Pine trees almost reach red sky

Snow becomes water

Source

Sheep

Sheep wander and graze

Neatly mowed green and brown hills

Prairie lane beckons

Source

Trees

Sun piercing the trees

Silently standing sentry

Guarding snow and ice

Source

Mirror

Beach mirroring sky

Man and best friend watch sunset

Light and time stand still

Source

Flute

My breath fills the flute

Easter anticipation

Music helps me wait

Source

Frosty

Sun warms frozen lake

Snow gleams like sugar crystals

Too lovely to melt

I always enjoy nature poems. You paint a picture that is tranquil and soothing.

I enjoyed your Haiku work my friend. I do not see why they were not welcomed anywhere. Very nice. whonu

Carolyn, these are wonderful haiku, perfectly describing the scenes in the accompanying images.
