My Harp and Imagination Running Sharp

Updated on August 28, 2012

Waiting to Be Inspired...

Wanted to write a piece of poetry and was kind of stuck with the words. Again? I said to myself I have to start writing something worth the read, and began to play with my stringed instrument, my single-action pedal harp that has been inherited from the Victorian times.

Sweetest girls would you please let me play

the harp that can soothe my senses with no end

Logging in into my account I start to get inspired

I start commenting on a hub and feeling these strings through my mind

Suddenly I realized I made a mistake

I had commented on my own hub with my own content

even voted up, pressed useful , interesting but funny

Inspiration, inspiration, the day wan'st so sunny!

Spaces and Shapes

Let's go to spatial emotions beyond our mind

I get entranced by your melody that takes me back in time

Inspired to travel to the four corners of the world

I feel my hands caressing those seven seas with a harpsichord

Enough of you...!

Sometimes If I don't get my way

you will have to pay the price

enough of not getting nowhere

I just open the window of imagination

And forget if you are really helpful or did care

Don't want to scare you harp of mine

Is just a poem that comes with words from

left and right

You will never end up being thrown out

just relax and forget about that picture

Stop having fears

You are fine with me

have no doubt.

Blowing away surreal complexities...

Surreal world stop restraining my imagination

loosen up my idealized concentration

Harp of mine now you are following my style

playing the tune of a lifetime

strings that are touching deep within my pivoting heart

My muse exposed...

Here she is, showing her face

the one that causes me pain

when at 3 a.m. I have to write another hub

Thus her reward is what I love the most

Between my mind and her naked hands

I paint canvas of joy that please her senses when she wants

Not infatuation, but she is the reason

that keeps me going without much explanation

Since creation, I think I was followed

by her echoes and curves of inspiration

Between the harp and my muse

I choose to leave them both and keep them induced

Between sensuality and mid term release

I'd rather be writing poetry that would really please...!

Very cool writing, De Cross. lol. I can't say I play an instrument, but I look for that muse and sometimes it comes and sometimes it doesn't. You've got inspiration from multiple places! That's awesome. :)

Lathing, so that was you? Kidding! Yeah, sometimes we just run out of inspiration and go back to our muse. Is like an addiction, and you know it so well. Great and fun commenting!

@My Cousins, glad you got a soothing start, for a wednesday. The flute melody is remarkable indeed. You have a wonderful day, and thanks for coming back and leave a comment.

@Dear eddy, thanks again for checking on our vitals and our heart beat. There is nothing better than music along with some words from us. Evidently there is some chemistry down the line, or the quill. Thanks!

I am listening to the beautiful flute music as I am writing this comment and I find it a calming way to start the day. The harp is so wonderful, I can understand why it would be a source of inspiration.

    Thanks for the hub.

Tammy dear, still touched by some troglodytes that messed up your backyard. Thanks for that smile of yours. My muse? Yeah she is something else. I mean she dictates the time and the title of every single hub. Yikes!

@Hi Faith Reaper, I think Debbie is on the run... to the superarket because she forgot some milk. Actually Debbie Lives in either place. We invite you to a praying request plataform if you ever want to. We are in FB. Debbie has family on both States. The details are kept as personal as being told. Thanks for reading us again!

Awww, now I just saw your comment to Maria, that touches my heart! On another note, when did Debbie move to Tennessee? I thought she was from Texas? I'm so confused. (Private joke - I found the doo doo doo, da da da - Ha- Lord, you will know what I mean.) In His Love, Faith Reaper

Whew, I am glad you clarified. If you actually threw a victorian harp out in the yard I would have cried. But, glady this has a happy ending. Your muse certainly keeps you busy. :)

Maria! This is a fun night for me reading such amazing people. No strings attached with this piece. Our muse is just fun to be with. Faith might think is my sister or my gf. No! Is a muse close to an angel, and we take her wisdom for granted at times. Thanks Maria!
