"Crime" Part 3

Updated on February 27, 2018

A continuation of "Mystery Unsolved"

Then,
there you were.
This mystery unravelled.
Right before my eyes,
there you stood.
And all those butterflies,
went wild,
inside my stomach,
they flew.
All these years,
searching,
I can't believe,
I've finally found you.

But you haven't aged a day.
You looked exactly the same.
Those blue eyes stared back at me,
this time I was sure.
My heart, so excited, yet scared,
trembled, fell to the floor.
I could not breathe.
I could not move.
And then I felt your arms around me.
For the first time,
I felt your love,
so pure.

You lifted me,
and took me away.
Off the ground
we did soar.
"How could this possibly be?"
You answered,
"Well, I'm an angel of course."

"All those years was a test,
to see if your love was true,
to see how long you would wait,
to see if this life was meant for you.
And now the time has come,
You are my true love."

I had become ill
in the last few years,
They said I had just a
short time to live.
and I died that day,
only to be awakened
by him.

but they did connect, a very strong connection at that, with just one look upon the other she waited her whole lifetime just to see him again. a complete stranger yes, but a connection nonetheless and he was her angel, her true love, and he saved her.

Its been to long without, the hours without my dearest Nikki, and now I return to find a beautiful new picture, and the most profound of her writing, for which to think deeply...

I loved this series, my friend. So very touching. I can see their faces, the two loves that don't quite connect. Were they meant to connect, to be one? In another life, perhaps?

Life is like that. Moments, tiny fragments of lives we might have lived. You look into someones eyes, and for a precious moment, you trust in dreams, and then, the next moment, you're both a thousand miles away peering out a window, thinking...

And then in the end, at the end, having trusted, we can be saved by our one special angel that we trusted so deeply in. But we can never die. Our dreams, our deep selves, our words, our love, have no end.

We are, you are, the angels of our dreams, and even now, you, my dear best friend, help us to fly...forever!!

i like the crow but its up to you. whichever you feel more comfortable using. I want people to see the person behind my writing though. id rather use my real pic. but the crow is cool and suits your kind of writing and you like masks so its all good. the crow is kinda like your mask.

Nikki, of course i like the pic, actually i like all the pics as long as you are in them and i do like your new pic, letting your hair down is a bonus, as far as me going back to pics not me, i just prefer using the crow as my avatar seems cool, lol, what do you think, should i use my real pic?

thanks bumspy. glad you liked this. to love an angel is a blessing and a curse. you have to go through all life waiting for that perfect love and in your dying day he saves you. and you live happily ever after in peace with your true love angel. and become an angel yourself. if you can not wait, or never feel that connection with a total stranger like she did, and fall in love with someone else then you do not become an angel when you die. thats the story here.

A romantic poem, written to draw the readers in and imagine a fantasy of their own discretion, interesting read, Nikki.
