NATURE SONG
Sing the song of day time~
In the hollow of the landscape~
Is the hare that nibbles a grass stem~
Been there since day break.
Dance to the tune of the morning~
In the trees there is a hidden place~
Where the bird sings its amazing grace~
Hush-a-by~
Hush-a-by~
How the yearling does ponder~
Before she flees~
Dusk is settling on her deerish feet.
Pitter Patter~
Doth the rain-water pool for some~
Who joyfully bathe~
Drying in the sun.
Walk amongst the trees~
Nothing is quite within the woods~
All is busy as they should~
Sunlight twitters in and out~
On the meadow you can see~
The flowers gaily blowing in the breeze~
Over there~
Over there~
On the bark the woodpecker snacks~
Little insects it doth eat~
He searches noisily for his treat.
Sing the song of day time~
Coooooe the morning dove~
Sing the song of day time~
Filled with God’s creatures loved.
Dance to the tune of the morning~
Twirl in one place~
See all the life around you~
Frolicking in the space.
Hush-a-by~
Hush-a-by~
Now night time tries to slip in~
Close your eyes and hear it~
For the nocturnal to begin.
Pitter Patter~
Little scampers~
Running to and fro~
Always racing with some place special to go.
Walk amongst the trees~
As sounds do stifle~
Walk amongst the trees~
Everything goes on pause for just a trifle.
Sunlight twitters in and out~
Here and there~
Go out the calls~
For nature to beware.
Over there~
Over there~
Sings the nature song~
As you notice if not careful~
Your foot prints could be intruding and wrong.
