I have always wanted to write but didn't know what to write. I can now write articles about what I like and I love it.

About the Book and Author

Do you want to use natural ingredients for your body and skin, then you will want to read Lisa Patrick's book, Natural Beauty Recipes: 60 Best Kept Secrets to Care for the Skin, Natural Skin Care Tips. This e-book is 46 pages but well worth the reading. This book was published on August 19, 2013, by Speedy Publishing, LLC. They have this book under the genre of skin care, beauty, grooming, and style.

Lisa Patrick has written books on how to apply to makeup, the proper way. She wants to teach people how to care for their skin, the natural way.

Did you know that people have used natural beauty recipes since the beginning of time? Natural ingredients are better for you because it is: "free of preservatives and pesticides, easily absorbed by the skin, less likely to cause irritation such as redness, etc., can prevent future damage by nourishing skin cells naturally, affordable, available, and good for the environment" (Natural Beauty Recipes by Lisa Patrick). Lisa Patrick explains what the five skin types are and the best natural ingredients to use and give a recipe to go with it. The 5 skin types are dry, oily, sensitive, mature, and combination.

This book gives recipes for skin types and its problems, for example, wrinkles, acne, and dull skin. There is a chapter that pertains to how to create your own home spa which is great for those who want their own spa. The best part about these recipes is that most of the ingredients, you will find in your kitchen. These recipes are easy to make but you will need the best quality ingredients that you can buy at the health store.

This book contains natural recipes for foot soaks, body scrubs, face masks, moisturizes, sunscreen lotion, and many more great ideas.

Chapter 7: Frequently Asked Questions about Natural Beauty Recipes

My thoughts

I have oily skin which means my skin will be prone to mild or severe acne, blackheads and whiteheads. I learned about the natural ingredients that will help control my face. The natural ingredients are:

-Tea Tree Oil

-Lemon Juice

-Lime Juice

-Egg Whites

-Witch Hazel

-Apple cider Vinegar

I didn't know that apple cider vinegar was good for my skin. I love ACV so I had to try the face mask for oily skin. This is one recipe that I will be using in the future.

All Natural Face Mask for Oily Skin Recipe:

- 2 tbsp honey

- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar

- 2 tsp lemon juice

Mix all three ingredients in a bowl. Apply to face for 30 minutes. Rinse and pat dry.

I tried this and after rinsing the mask off, my face was softer. I love it. this is a great face mask. My skin is still soft and feels great.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning how to take care of their skin the natural way. And anyone who is interested in beauty, grooming and skin care products.

I did find some grammar mistakes but it didn't take away anything from the book. There was nothing about this book that I didn't like. I love that it was easy to understand and follow. It is set up with a recipe with its ingredients and directions. It is also easy to read.

I also love that it gives you recipes for the hair and body, for the face, and your hand and feet. I am going to keep this book because I will be going back through it to make some of these recipes myself.

Another thing that I love about this book is that it contains more than one recipe for a product. For example, there are different recipes for a face mask. You can choose which one you like or which one you have the ingredients for. One recipe for a mask calls for brown sugar, granulated sugar, almond oil and pumpkin pie spice whereas another one calls for ground sage, coconut oil, coconut milk and sea salt. I love that there are different options for different people.

This book is easy to navigate. Anyone can read this book and understand what is being said.

Do you think this book sounds interesting enough to read?

The best ways to keep skin smooth are the natural ways. I think the recipe you mentioned in your article is one of the best recipes because its ingredients are natural. I will try it.
