Heaven could possibly be

earth all over again,

with the exception

that in Heaven

we will start out knowing

what it took us

a lifetime on earth

to learn.

Heaven is perfection, where there is no sin and where we can join the beautiful angels' voices and sing our praises to our Father God. Interesting poem.

Monos Mas: As a writer, I'm not very prolific. I think it comes from my newspaper roots. If I can say it in a sentence, I'm not going to make a paragragh out of it. My English profs hated me, but my J-school profs loved me. It's fine when I write poetry, but when I'm trying to write a novel it's a hindrance.

Oh, so true. I'm glad that we will arrive in heaven with our present knowledge. Who wants to make the same mistakes again?

teaches: A friend of mine who knows a great deal more about scripture than I do said Heaven would be all-knowing. I like the idea of that. There is so much in life I don't want to forget, including the mistakes I've made. But seeing the whole picture will put it all in the right context - I hope!

You may be right about the knowing. Interesting and well expressed.
