Poetry - Madness

Updated on March 10, 2011

Crying when i should laugh over my sanity

drowned by this madness, this vanity

standing on the edge of reason

disturbed, i turn away

surviving  this change of seasons

as night turns into day

I bury this feeling inside my brains

oh God, please let it rain

on this dry land of my emotions

give some rhythm to my devotion

let this madness resonate my being

as my sanity caught the last train

on a one way path to destruction

on a one way path to destruction.

I keep rereading your work, and though it is sad I can't help but smile, I suppose because it resonates with me...

thanks. and ironically, most people don't like it cause its too depressing for them. but i guess thats the way i write.

This is actually pretty talented work, and I perfectly understand the sadness in it. Nothing wrong with emotional poetry man

when you look in the mirror and see what you dont like staring back at you,

      you turn away in disgust...

or maybe you turn away because you know that you do like it...

      the madness...the self destruct.
