Poetry : You Are My Sunshine
Stars of love light the night sky, side by side as the moon unwindes.
She see's the love the stars can offer yet she remains alone.
Her bright glow outshines the stars, she is seen both near and far.
Yet only one can light her glow, only one, she really knows.
The stars will dance, shoot and form yet she looks away.
For her eyes remain on the only star that seems to light her way.
It keeps her glowing when night seems at its darkest.
Even when she hides, it still manages to see her on the other side.
When she is only half awake, it still conforts her glowing face.
No other star can replace what she feels at night.
Even all alone she sits, glowing in illuminious light.
Waiting for the day she will get the courage to make a move.
Covering the stars light for only herself.
Yet once she does she must move on.
For this stars light, outshines all the stars.
She loves him so, yet he will never know...
The joy he brings her each night, as she lights the sky with her glow.
**Some will understand this poem some will not, it's about the moon and the sun's friendship. She loves him for all he does but can't keep him for herself. So they remain friends and she remains happy for him, yet loves no other star. If you have a friend you love, but fear telling them how you feel, take the chance! You never know, he/she may secretly be in love with you too!**
