Rain That Wetted My Hearts – a Poem on Rain
Grey clouds made the harvesters sing
the harbinger of rains was on the plug
birds nestled and peacocks danced
minds teemed with joys that swayed;
With tiny drops of water drizzling
cheering the leaves and rivers wetting,
blooming minds with hopes seedling,
rains showered with gay spreading;
Magic rains colored the trees with green
lakes, canals and rivers run clean
eyes, ears and mouth get dampen
hearts to be with the love they yearn;
Lovebirds perched to wet their love
nightingales sang to wet their songs
lovers wetted them tying their hands
my heart searched for my love in rains;
