She Met Him

Updated on January 13, 2020

And then the story began ...

Have you ever met someone to you whom were instantly attracted to? Of course you have! Otherwise chances are you might not be a human being. I wrote this narration when I first met this guy, I was trying make my life a fantasy. Read on my first encounter with him and I will later reveal where we stand now.

She was sitting on a couch in the lodging area. She was reading one of the books of love poems written by this author that she heard on one of the sitcoms on TV. “I am such a hopeless romantic!” she thought to herself. She was lost in her thoughts – will she ever find love?, who will it be?, when will it be? She thought and continued reading the book.

He was walking towards the lodging area, listening to one of his favorite songs. Whenever he listened to this one, he felt like he could do anything. He had a dancing gait in his walk. He wanted to dance with his girl on this one, he wanted to get lost in her eyes so bad… there was only one thing though, he needed to find her. He continued to walk toward the hallways which lead to his classroom. He was thinking about asking this hot girl out from his class … would she say yes? What the heck … he was going to ask her probably today … well … He was thinking this and his iPod shutdown suddenly. I love that song, he thought. In a short rage he said “what the heck!” out aloud.

She suddenly shook from his sound and looked up. He just realized he was shouting and looked around if someone heard him. She did, and was looking right at him, staring at him, rather. He had short light colored hair, had frameless glasses, had the most gorgeous hazel eyes she had ever seen, seemed like he did not shave for a couple of days which looked perfect for her, because it was a perfect balance of rugged look and cute look.

“I am sorry, did I startle you?” He asked her.

“Umm … No I am fine, Are you okay?” She checked with a smile.

She had one of the most beautiful smiles he had ever seen, she seemed to involve her eyes when she smiled. He just wanted to drown in her chocolate brown eyes.

“I was till now” he mumbled.

“Excuse me?” she said, she could not hear him.

“I was listening to a song, I said, and it stopped suddenly, one of my favorites” he replied.

“Must be one heck of a song” she said, looking at his iPod.

“Yea it’s called … Dance with me” he said, looking for a place to sit beside her.

“I would love to” now she mumbled.

“Excuse me?” he said.

“I love that one, I said, one of my favorites too” She said.

“I am …” He introduced himself and sat down beside her. He completely forgot about his class and the girl in that class whom he was going to ask out, probably his last chance since it was last day of class.

“I am …” she introduced herself and they talked for hours.

Now you may be wondering what happened to this guy and me. We are very good friends now, he is my latest "Gay best friend". Yup! He turned out to be gay, as most eligible, good-looking, available men are!.

I know it is mostly obvious if a guy is gay or not. But sometimes this occasional guy may escape your gay-dar. Do let me know if this has happened to you too.
