Standing In the Midst of No Where

Updated on January 27, 2014

Alone in a crowd

Imperceptible

He was seen, but not seen,

Ignored

Invisible

He existed

Waiting for validation

To be told his life meant something

He stood amidst his peers

Watching them revolve around him

His heart was cold

Viewing the injustice

Seen before his eyes

In seclusion he lived

Inside himself but to the world,

He was

Just another soul

Added to the erosion

Of this world
