Words are seeds planted in a book

By Shyron Shenko 2-3-2014

When I think of strength, I don't think of brawn

I think of strength gathered from within

From getting out of bed at dawn

To reap the harvest of the seeds we have sown

Words are our strength, just have a look

Our words are seeds planted in a book

Words of inspiration inviting us to read

The words that blossomed from each and every seed

You can feel the strength of every word

Everything is written, everything you have seen or heard

When your own words are written there

It shows your strength, it shows you care

Jo, your project "Good Words"

Inspiration for me to write

About my experiences

And the beauty of everything insight

And so my friend

Your words gave me the strength and might

To read the other's articles to the end

But most of all encouraged me to write

Words are our strength, just have a look

Our words are seeds planted in a book

Words of inspiration inviting us to read

The words that blossomed from each and every seed

Au fait, I really appreciate you, and thank you for the comment, compliment and for sharing. Yes it does take a lot of strength sometimes, just to go to bed much less get out of bed 'sometimes' but when we have the strength to do what we need to do at the end of that day we sleep well.

      Hope you are doing well.

Blessings and hugs my dear friend

It takes a lot of strength often times just to get out of bed in the morning, and many people must go through very difficult things day in and day out, yet they never give up.

Words can give strength to others and sometimes to ourselves. Books can give us opportunities to learn about things without having to go through them ourselves.

It is the determined strength some people have to keep going even when the outcome is not guaranteed, and even when the going gets so rough and continuous that it seems it will never end, that I admire most.

Just a few of my ramblings here . . .

      Sharing this excellent poem again.

Hope you and John are both well. Blessings and hugs dear friend. Take care . . .

Words can indeed be strength and can sew seeds of inspiration far and wide for many years to come. I wonder if the people who write here on HP and on the other writing sites realize just how far reaching their words may be. Words can inspire and encourage and educate and more.

Even words many people might consider dark, discouraging, and negative seem to me to be a window into the experiences of the writer and an opportunity to learn how other people perceive and how they may have experienced similar things to ourselves but from a different perspective. Everyone has a part to play in this production called Life on Earth. Everyone has something to contribute, something to teach the rest of us, something they know that many of us may not know because they experienced something differently than we did or than the other people we know did.

There is so much to be learned from other people and their writings are one of the best ways to do that. Even when we may disagree, if we will keep an open mind we may be able to see the same things through new eyes from a different perspective.

So often it isn't a matter of right and wrong, but simply a matter of different. Being different isn't necessarily wrong or right, it's just a different way, just as there are many roads leading to the same destination, so there are many ways of looking at and experiencing similar things.

Do hope you are taking care of yourselves during these horrible hot days. If these outdoor chores are so important, who is lined up to take over in the event you make yourselves sick trying to do them? And what horrible event will we all experience if you can't get them done because you fell ill in your attempt? Take care of yourselves first so that you have the good health and strength to accomplish these tasks. Just think how tall the grass will get if one or both of you end up in the hospital . . . please take care of yourselves first.

      Blessings for you both . . .

I love collaborative efforts like this, and I love it when one writer inspires another to write something beautiful like this. Well done Shyron.
