What keeps you in my thoughts at night?

What keeps you in my thoughts at night?
Is it the sultry voice that keeps me warm at night?
Or the seductive look that causes my heart to ignite?...

I think it’s the way you easily fluttered into my life.
Like a stick of butter cut by a hot knife.

At times I wish you were out of my head;
sometimes the loneliness feels as heavy as lead.

Are you a seductive devil or merciful angel in disguise?
Do you speak the truth to me, or do you whisper beautiful lies?

Tonight you lay in the arms of another.
If you were in my arms this night oh
how my heart would flutter.

Until then I lay alone to battle my emotions.
I will toss and turn like the tides of the ocean.

You’re in my thoughts tonight…
