Tears of a Young Man: A Poem
Tears of a young man By Halley Kawistoro
Every moment they make a sign of existence
Some are at the highest peak
It's in a humiliated valley
on the edge of hope
is on the border of promises
to keep a hope for the sake of achieving the future.
The screen of life stretches on the hands of confidence
clenched for victory
gather to show care
shaking hands of success without any hesitation
they complained bitterly against the hunting bitter pangs
they stem tired on a shoulder of the reality of life.
while time goes fast beside them.
the storyline is not always beautiful to be enjoyed together
there is a war between every soul who calls himself youth
there is a trick to step on each other.
then mock about another's success.
after that mourning again wailing in an empty room called failure.
Read your life honestly.
where the business that you carved.
which boundary your journey will take.
while at one end you stop because of obstruction of blessing.
from the parents you left when you were happy.
from friends who are left out when you are in the highest place.
from the direction wasted in the light of time and you find a way.
Remember back to a sign.
a sign when you have to go home.
sign when you have to pull over from the noise of competition.
a sign when you have to stop and reflect alone.
when you have to re-carve beliefs together.
because you are not alone. They are with you
separated by different dreams.
all will never be the same
to start over
to step again
to feel caring
in yourself when you get lost and you stop
because you are no longer separated from them
who always gives and you can only take
can only continue to appear
can't choose when life will continue
realize the reality, you, me and we were with them.
