Ten Ultimate Rules to becoming Successful and Getting Whatever You Want.

Who do you idolize? Who do you want to be like ? Is there a celebrity that you wish to be like? Do you want to be the best at what you do? Do you want to be rich? Do you want to get what you ask for? Well if you do, you have come to the right place! Success doesn't happen over night but with the right mind and attitude you can accomplish anything you desire.

I have watched over thousands of interviews with the most successful people in the world that including Michael Jordan, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Carlos Slim, Ralph Lauren, George Clooney and they all have one thing in common besides their celebrity status it is the fact that they go above and beyond at what they do, they have a vision, a mind that thinks DIFFERENTLY. Even Steve Jobs spoke about Apple's Motto "Think Different" and the impact those words made in his life. Follow my steps and I PROMISE you will see significant changes in your life.... STARTING NOW!

Sometimes we would like to babble and vent about our frustrations and how we feel about the world which is fine sometimes but can really give you a disadvantage when it comes to solving the issues you are dealing with. Thats why I say be more of a listener than a speaker. When you listen more than you speak you will come across some information that may be valuable in your life. It is very difficult to speak and listen to someone at the same time, we have ears to listen and we have a mind to pick and choose what we take from other's words.

Have you heard that phrase some people use when they think the speaker is talking nonsense.. "Man, can you hear what you are saying?" This is said after the listener thinks a person is talking nonsense and again you don't have to necessarily follow what somebody is saying but you can gain more information about people by listening to what they say rather than you spewing out information that you already know.

Pay attention to the world around you. How do you feel today? Do you feel like your world is closing in on you? Are you feeling anxious, sad and or depressed? Dale Carnegie, one of the most influential men in the area of philosophy and teaching has said that "It isn't what you have or who you are or where you are or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about." Think about positive thoughts and be more optimistic about any situation you're dealing with. Remember nobody can tell you how to feel, self esteem comes from the SELF! It is up to you to take negative words in or hang around more positive people and take in their words.

Napoleon Hill a best selling author of self help books, believed in the power of positive attitude. No matter what difficult situation you go through in your life look at it in the most positive way you can. When you change your bad attitude to a more positive attitude you will become more happy with your life. You got into a car accident, hey it could've been worse, loaned a so called friend money and he didn't get back to you? well guess what you just learned a valuable lesson that would prevent you from making the same mistake twice! (They don't teach you this in school)

Read plenty of self help books. What I like to do before picking out a book is to go on Amazon check out the reviews and get a gist of what others are saying about the book. Which areas in your life do you want to improve on is it love, money, friends, or your career? Find out which book is best for you.

Copy the most successful person you know, what is it about that person that makes them successful? How do they walk or talk, how are they towards other people, watch videos of them giving a speech or being interviewed. You can learn so much from just observing others. Andrew Carnegie once said "As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say. I just watch what they do."

Pablo Picasso one of Americas most famous artists once said "Good artists copy, great artists steal." Now I'm not telling you don't be original but borrow some great ideas that made others successful and build on many people do this to become rich and successful.

Youtube is a great way of gaining visual learning. There are an abundance of videos that will teach you anything you are interested in, check out the site and watch a quick video about any skill you're interested in learning.

In a best selling book by Malcolm Gladwell he talks about the word OUTLIERS , those people who stand out and are successful have practiced the trick of the trades for years in fact Gladwell says he estimated the time of mastery for any skill to be estimated at 10,000 hours. Practice, Practice, Practice every single day and you will improve if its one percent that one percent will turn into two percent and so on.

Do what you love and it is no longer a job, it is something that you are passionate about and passion brings in the best work, so make the best out of anything you do.

When you work, work at your best and your hardest no matter how slow or how weak the other employees are working, don't follow them stand out from the crowd and go above and beyond at whatever work you do. All that hard work will pay off and who knows you might end up being the manager of that job one day or learning the tricks of the trade, take advantage of your surroundings and learn every second of life. Hard work pays off but you must be patient.

Make a strong investment and invest in stock or something that you believe will become successful one day. The most important thing in the world is to invest in yourself , diet, exercise, you have to look good to feel good. Pray every night , tell God what you want and sky is the limit. The prayer I pray every night is " The Lord's prayer" because Jesus told his disciples to pray that way. God said the kingdom "of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:20-21). You already have the potential to be great but you just need to bring it out for greatness is already in you!

Surround yourself with great people. Be around those who motivate you and truly are looking out for your best interest. Being with family and friends who uplift your spirits will give you great confidence and motivate you to be your best.

Avoid those who upset you, complain to you, and stress you, you don't need those kind of people in your life, life can already be complicated at times. Remember that your time is the most valuable thing that you can't afford to waste.

I hope that this hub has helped you become the better you in your life. I assure you that if you follow the ten rules in this article your life will change for the better. Blessings to all who read because you're already on the right path.

Great advice. I taught myself how to do spreadsheets and product photography by watching Youtube videos. I'm now making pretty good money using those skills.

Beautiful ideas. Thank you for sharing your insights. We agree in most areas. I am only a little hesitant on watching YouTube. Too much temptation to get distracted for me! I would add one more "extra" secret: be fluid. By that I mean, things don't always go according to plan. You need to know how to adapt and keep going, see the "silver lining" and so forth. Best wishes for many more successful hubs!
