The Benevolent and The Malevolent

Updated on April 28, 2016

Personhood has two opposite facets. One of the facets is benevolence. Benevolence that springs from goodwill. One of the facets is malevolence. Malevolence that springs from ill will. Goodwill that makes the benevolent person. Ill will that makes the malevolent person. The benevolent person, and the malevolent person, that overpower the world.

Benevolence brings pleasure to the world. Pleasure that grants repute to the benevolent person. Benevolence obtains repute. The benevolent person becomes the reputed person. The reputed person that overpowers the world.

Malevolence brings fear to the world. Fear that grants infamy to the malevolent person. Malevolence obtains infamy. The malevolent person becomes the infamous person. The infamous person that overpowers the world.

However, the reputed person, that is the benevolent person, and the infamous person, that is the malevolent person, actually, do not overpower the world. The reputed person, that is the benevolent person, and the infamous person, that is the malevolent person, actually, are underpowered, and the world overpowers them.

The world objectifies the benevolent person. The benevolent person undergoes objectification. The benevolent person becomes an object.

The world rejects the malevolent person. The malevolent person undergoes rejection. The malevolent person becomes a reject.

The world makes the benevolent person an object. The world makes the malevolent person a reject. Benevolence brings pleasure to the world. Pleasure that, actually, leads the benevolent person to objectification. Malevolence brings fear to the world. Fear that, actually, leads the malevolent person to rejection.

The benevolent person, the world objectifies. The malevolent person, the world rejects. The benevolent person, and the malevolent person, the world overpowers.

One is good, the other is bad. Both of them assume themselves as powerful. The third is the real master. The real master i.e. the world, who weilds the real power, subjugates both of them. Ancel, I love these reflections !
