The Star's Brilliance ( a poem of inspiration)
A vibrant point of the most intensive, this light,
Remains shimmering on the horizon's plain,
Pulsating and dancing across the night's sky,
Such a brilliance, of its essence, in every grain.
What purpose, has this radiant star's appearance,
This grandest delight with such heavenly appeal?
A directive, in its attraction, as if mapping the way,
And its bright presence to remain as so very real.
Its bountiful rays seem to mark a special place,
At Bethlehem, where it so well does embrace,
A most holy location of old and is so well revered,
As wise men all to follow, and each to trace.
Mother Mary, there the birth of her sweet babe,
As father Joseph awaits patiently by her side,
The lambs all played, as the angels to serenade,
Before humble shepherds, this night, far and wide.
This precious child born, on every Christmas morn,
Now our grandest time and this yearly celebration,
The savior of our world, of this, our banner's unfurled,
And in December, of its magnificent representation.
To our families, to every friend, we each do send,
This great message, and with it, a warm ovation.
Around the earth, this time of mirth, we sing praises,
And to all do extend our most heartfelt invitation.
