The Layered Heart You Broke

Updated on November 11, 2011

It's Broken...The part of my soul that can give and always give to one that once flourished my very being,

Was there no recollections of love from our relationship...the span of good and bad times...were the good not enough,

You duck and dodge...sway from the hugs I tried to give...pushed my chest from reaching yours...denied and withering,

I tried to give all I could in the name of God's vision...a view for couples living out their lives to prosper peacefully.

But you fell from the grace he tried to offer...the angels send you a man that tries to show his loving personality towards you,

What with alcohol you had swayed your visions...emotional turmoils on every level of all aspects within your life,

Don't despair...I will continue to try to support you for I have corners of my heart that echo faint distinctions of love through the corridors,

I offer you a sense a being...of belonging...but you won't stop pushing away...telling me you can't even love yourself.

But with love who can you really love...the only distinction from love and lust is a passion for one another,

My embrace with yours...a kindled fire of bright orange and blue tint...but alas that was blown to the wind,

The forests went dark...winds whipping the thick rooted trees like representatives of Cupid on strike,

Houses of viking style heritage striking my heart like assaults on the mainland of Middle age Europe.

I want nothing more than to show you my undeniable structure of willing compassion that only God understands,

But my fear is only that you don't understand yourself enough to fulfill our needs unconditionally,

Please Understand I will always strive to be close...but my outer shell may try to hide it...the full blown passion I used to have,

No more Corruption...less extracurricular activities of demise and instant gratification...Lets restart and begin anew...My Heart needs this Now.
