The 'Misfits' come storming into the New Year.

Updated on January 2, 2014

Well hello one and all and I hope you all enjoyed your Christmases wherever you may be. I have to apologise for not being on here for a couple of weeks but the run up to Christmas was so hectic ; however well worth it. We'd made up Christmas stockings for the grandkids this year instead of the usual money to buy whatever they wanted with !!

It kept us busy what with choices ;buying and wrapping ;but do you l know that we enjoyed every single moment of it and we will definitely be making this an annual tradition from now on. We delivered the pressies over Christmas Day and Boxing Day and the faces of the little ones as they opened them were several images to cherish.

I always say that my Christmas is over with until New Year's Day has been and gone ; the child in me once again ha ha ha I wouldn't want it any other way !!!

How many of you have made those almighty resolutions ??? Mine will be to follow on from last year's but one is to introduce you all to the Misfits and their daft capers ; to introduce much laughter and fun !!

Of course there will still be the 'steps back in time' and of course inspirational poetry; that goes without saying but none of us are worse off with a little harmless nonsense from time to time. I hope you all enjoy this first visit and please leave comments ; constructive criticism most welcome.

Call the misfits if you need a delivery

We vow here now; you won't be sorry.

Near or far, big or small,

We'll deliver anything to anywhere at all!!

Us misfits will be your No1 firm,

Fairly and squarely this firm is run!!!

Not for miles will you find no one cheaper

Everyone else's prices are much, much steeper!!

Boss will do anything to make his life easier and wouldn't hesitate to break the law either. Which is why PC. Crochet is just waiting for the chance to pounce on him!!

However some of the workers may be a little dim but the policeman may have to wait a while as Boss himself is pretty clever!!!

It was a Monday morning

And a very early start,

Percy had to deliver

Dora's horse and cart.

x

Well nothing is easy,

Soon Percy sees stars;

Falling over the cart

And the horse bit his arse!!!

.

Along wobbles Granville

and as always is starving ;

Baked Beans a favourite

Another day of farting!!!

x

He clears the depot

With one huge try;

The horse went sick.

And Percy wanted to cry!!!!

Then boring Brian

Picked up Hattie's drawers ;

They were to go

To a very good cause

x

Brian opens the door

Of the said charity shop;

And there on the floor

The big knickers he did drop!

Boss strolls in slowly

As always oh so late;

He laughs and chuckles

Slamming the wonky gate!!!

x

Why can't he just for once

Act like a proper boss;

That is too much hard work

And he doesn't give a toss!

Escorted in cuffs

Arrives brother Benny;

By his side is Crochet

The local town bobby.

x

He'd driven like an idiot

And just did not stop;

He says to Pc. Crochet

"Well it's a fair cop!!!"

Poor Lofty rubs his head

He's had more than enough;

To the Boss he says

"This job you can stuff!!!"

x

"I've got a trip to the vets

With that dog and his fleas ;

It's as deaf as a post

And on the seat he pees."

Boss once again is smiling

And as happy as Larry;

But along comes Dora

That witch he had to marry!!!

x

Her mood was so bleak

Thing couldn't be worse;

Percy had gone and lost

Her thoroughbred horse.

Boss flees for his life

To the off license he goes;

For that bottle of rum

Sure to transform his woes.

x

In his Empire he now sits

Like one majestic king;

Nothing like a tot to drink

Much happiness it can bring.

Boss now in singing mode

Poor Gertie has to bear;

In airy fairy land he is

And doesn't have a care.

x

Another days has passed

He can only hope and pray;

For more victims to upset

The next and every day.

THE END.

Well I hope you enjoyed your introduction to The Misfits and this will be the first in a long running series on this hopeless lot.

While these characters are fictional do they remind you of someone you know ??I bet they do ha ha ha!!!

I wish you all a wonderful day and lots of love from Wales.

Take care

Eddy.
