True Love Poems: The Moment It All Changed

It was a moment in my life
Where I felt the Earth
Crumbling beneath my feet

I could not stand
My eyes were blind
My future and my path were bleak

Suddenly the heavens parted,
And down flew an angel
Smiling with radiance to light the sky

And the miracle
Of all miracles happened
I had all the answers to my questions why.

Why did she leave?
Why did I have to go?
Why God have your forsaken me?
Now all the answers I know.

Every trial
Every hardship
Was preparing me for a moment like this

So that I could look
My angel in the eyes
And know this moment of bliss.

Thank you God
For shedding the light
Upon my dark ways

I’ll never question
My hardships again
Because I know they lead to brighter days

You’ve given me life
You’ve given me peace
I am grateful for the lessons I’ve learned
And my love for you will never cease.
