The Multi-Talented Susan Joyner-Stumpf - Poet, Writer, Author, Graphic Artist & More
Susan Joyner-Stumpf - Poet, Writer, Author, Graphic Artist & More
Susan Joyner-Stumpf is immensely talented. I have discovered Susan on the popular writing community that is known to all as writing.com and right then I knew that she was something truly special. Not only is she a (dark, abstract) poet, short story writer, novelist, and published author, but she is also a graphic artist, a book cover designer, a web page designer, a greeting card designer, a transcriptionist, and a Tennessee Walking Horse breeder. That is a very impressive resume of talents. I would classify this remarkable woman as a “triple-threat”, since she excels in everything she does, though triple is probably not enough. She has accomplished so much over the years, so let’s take a look at all of her accomplishments in the creative arts and beyond.

These books feature all her poetic creations and short stories. They are amazing, enjoyable, and quite a treat. Some of the topics that Susan covers in these books include love, sorrow, joy, being an abuse survivor, and philosophical opinions of her worldviews. She also writes about animals a great deal, especially her own animals, who have been her greatest teachers.
Her books can be found online on Amazon, at Barnes & Noble, among other online retailers, and on her publishers' websites.
Besides these books Susan is also working on her first (thriller) novel, which is a diary of a serial killer.

Susan has written over twenty-five hundred poems, one hundred short stories, and about ten novels. Besides showcasing her writing in her books, Susan also showcases her writing on many online writing communities and other social sites where she has established a devoted fan base. Among these sites are writing.com (where she has a huge writing portfolio), authorsden.com, Facebook, and MySpace. She also publishes her writing on her blogs.
Praise for Susan Joyner-Stumpf's Books and Writing
Susan’s writing and her books have received lots of praise and positive feedback that only propels her to dive deeper into the world of writing and bring amazing new creations to life for others to enjoy. No matter what Susan brings to life, everything is filled with a great deal of emotion, passion, and honesty. Everything you read will connect with you and touch you in some way.
Awards, Accolades, Achievements
Being deeply immersed in writing and being so talented in this creative art, Susan has earned many accolades to add to her impressive resume of talents. Among these are Editor’s Choice Awards for outstanding achievement in poetry for six straight consecutive years in a row, and a large number of recognition statements, ribbons, trophies, poet of the year statuses and three-time poet of the month winner on the prestigious writing community – writing.com. And that’s not all. Susan has won many local and international creative writing contests that go back as far as grade school. She has publications in multiple anthologies such as The American Poetry Society, Modern Poets of America, Rolling Thunder Press, and Far Space, just to name a few. She has honorable mentions in many other writing outlets. That is a remarkable feat and it shows just how amazing and immensely talented Susan really is. I will not be surprised if she adds many more accolades to her already long list of those she has already earned to-date.
Graphics and Book Covers
Graphics is another specialty of Susan’s. The graphics that she creates will astound you and take your breath away. I can only wish I could create such phenomenal works of art. Maybe one of these days it might happen. For now, I will immerse myself in Susan’s graphics, which I can’t get enough of, as they not only inspire me a great deal but they touch me in many ways. You can check out her graphics on her Facebook Graphic Art Page.
On top of creating graphics Susan also creates images that showcase her remarkable poetry. She also designs amazing book covers. She has designed book covers for her books and for books of other authors. She can do just about anything, so if you are planning to publish a book and are looking for a book cover, she is the one to turn to. You will be amazed at what she will do for your book. And if you want to showcase your poem in a graphic or image she can do that too.
Susan's All Occasion Cards
Being both a graphic artist and a poet, Susan has combined her two talents to create her very own greeting cards that feature beautiful graphics and beautiful writing that will resonate with you, make you laugh, touch your heart and more. She has created greeting cards for many different occasions. Her greeting cards come with writing already featured on them, but she also created cards that are blank, for those who want to write their own verses and greetings. I am sure that if someone wanted to say something specific to their special someone, but wasn’t sure what to write, Susan would gladly write a verse (or two) and make a custom greeting card for that person. New greeting cards are being created, so there is always something new to browse through and pick out for that special person in your life. You can check out her greeting cards on Facebook: Susan's All Occasion Cards
Susan's Love for Animals
Among her many talents in the creative arts, Susan is passionate about animals, especially horses and wolves. She raises and breeds Registered Tennessee Walking Horses. She lives on a 60-acre horse ranch that she proudly named Rainbow Walkers, which is situated in the beautiful, majestic Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The books that she has published have been dedicated to animals and plenty of poems in the books are written about them.
