The One Who Laid April Here

© by Shyron Shenko

For the one who laid April here

Now April is the one that he should fear

He thinks because her body is encased

That she can't leave her resting place

Can you imagine his great surprise?

When April appears

Right before his eyes

To confront him

For his Lies

The Ides of March are through

And presenting April to him too

Awesome and eerie poetry. Love your response to the challenge and the music, too. Listening now. Love this song. It brings back such fond memories of hearing this record play on the radio on my way to work.

A great story/poem. Anyone who hasn't already read this should do so. They won't be disappointed.

Time is the best healer and I hope it's working for you, though it often takes a lot time before things look brighter. Blessings and hugs dear friend . . .

Yes Shyron, I feel for you and Jo. It is a shame that she removed all her hubs. Unless they meet their guidelines for the niche sites they aren't really interested in them. It is part of the reason I started The Creative Exiles. I have been moving my lowest scoring hubs which become unfeatured if I think they are suitable. Luckily my last few poetry hubs have been chosen for Letterpile. As I suggested, the best way for us to keep our poetry hubs featured here is for us to keep reading each other's poetry hubs.

John, thank you so much for letting me know that I am not alone. HP has been picking on my Good Words Project and Jo/Grace Goldsmith has taken all her hubs down, She still has an account so she can keep up with her followers and the ones she is following, but she has not been on HP for about 5 weeks. I think this is what HP wants is for us to take down hubs they consider inferior. (i.e. poems)

I am also having problems keeping these ones featured, Shyron. I took all ads out, changed a few things...now featured again but eventually may have to move them. All we can do is visit each other's hubs and comment so at least they are shown as active.

I don't know what the moderator expected from me

What can I do but add a video or two?

I don't think HP understands poets or poetry

I could not find any mistakes

For over the coals me they would rake

I feel like the are saying take this poem and go away

But this is one of my favorites anyday

Thought I'd give this a share. I know there are lots of new members here who haven't read this great story yet.

So awful hot las' night and never did get below 82 degrees F. Hope you're planning to stay in today because it's going to be 100. Seems like that would dehydrate the grass pretty quickly, no need to cut it. Blessing to you and take care . . .

This makes me think of all of the people who are killed by drunk drivers. In Texas (not sure about other states) the sides of the road have many crosses where people were killed. It may not always be due to drunk driving...but it is often the case. Pinning to Awesome HubPages and voted up.

HP? Maybe they did not read Frank's Challenge for April's poetry month. Or maybe I just got the wrong way to present my verse. If you read FaithReaper verse, the you can see how it should go.

I know there is a poet inside of you, waiting to get out and scream and shout. So let that poet out and join the fun.

      Love you my friend.

You are truly gifted when it comes to writing poetry. The only thing that could make this better is one of your hand drawings.

Voted up, AI, and pinned to AH, also shared.

I'm sorry HP gave you so much trouble with this project. They really know how to throw a wet blanket on things and incentivize someone to write don't they?

Hope your week is going well, that you are feeling good, and that you and John aren't trying to get everything done all in one day. :)
