The Saga of Donald and Mike

We now have our Donald and Mike.

And if the Congress should strike

They'll round up their troops,

and come down with whoops

to the Senate that's governed by Mike.

Now that's not to say

that just for a day

Ole Donald would not be in charge

(out there on his Potomac "barge")

he'd still get his way.

"Cooperation is fine,

with results that are mine.

I want them aplenty

so in 2020,

I'll still be atop our sign."

"Struggle, if we must,

so in history's dust,

the U. S. is great again,

the result of us two men,

Will be: "In Trump We Trust."

Donald and Mike, in that order please,

will soon the country's reins seize.

We'll make an impression,

without a recession.

Lest the economy sneeze!

It's not our deception,

Don't make an exception.

Things are just about to change.

We have the problems in range.

Warm up the reception.

We simply oppose

and now will dispose

things that smack of Obama

and all his late drama,

leaving him king without clothes.

Let this be our banner,

as strength is our manner:

"We plan to ride rough shod,

like a really tough god,

so fine tune your scanner."
