The makings of a great creative writer!

Updated on January 3, 2012

We often think that in order we need to write like crazy, and drive traffic to our blogs. As true as this may be, a great writer also thinks about the message that he or she is sending to their audience. I recently wrote a blog post about how to change your life on one of my favorite blogs, and this got me to think about the kind of writer that I am, and how I can be better.

One of the things I came up with was simply that I was a great writer because I create posts and articles that continuously attract the attention of many other readers.

But does this mean i'm actually a great writer?

As I continue in my quest to find out how to be a great writer and what it takes, I couldn't help but stumble across a few other articles online about how people were making a difference in their community. These articles although were not about writers per say, were about people that were considered great among their friends and family members.

In this article, many words popped out at me as I was doing my research, words such as: taking time, making friends, replying and communicating with others. But, wait! Isn't this what a writer also does in their work? Talks to people through their articles, communicates ideas and concepts and makes friends and adds them.

Well, fellow writers and readers, as a part of this friendly and helpful website, I want to become a better writer and by doing so, I hope to help others do the same.

I am planning on becoming a better writer and helping others (that want the help) do the same by giving them the option of being a guest blogger on my blog for this coming month! I have recently mentioned in my blog, and one or two articles here that I have wanted to change and bring one of my favorite blogs back to life, and this is one of the ways that seems to be working for me.

So, if you want to be a guest blogger on my blog, or have an idea or suggestion for a blog post or my actual blog, let me know by sending me an e-mail, commenting on my hub or going to my blog and letting me know of your idea.

What I hope to do with this idea is help people drive traffic to their blogs and my own, and let help them become better bloggers and writers!
