The Ferris Wheel Ride (limerick)

Updated on February 18, 2014

Wife took me on Ferris Wheel ride

My terror was real hard to hide

Long till I forget

What stomachs omit

Till wife let me sit on inside

This limerick reminded me that I avoided ferris wheels as a child and while growing up. It was not until I became an adult that I finally pushed aside my dread and rode a double ferris wheel. I was amazed to discover that I enjoyed it. I actually felt exhilarated and wanted to ride again immediately. (Of course, my stomach didn't interfere!)
