This Didn’t Really Happen – Really (limerick)

Updated on December 7, 2012

I shouted my tears formed a tide

The day that the T. V. set died

How could I face dawn

With best friend now gone

Just turn darn thing on my wife cried

Yeah - turning on the television may be effective,

But it won't mean a thing if you dint pay the electric.

Funny, I wouldn't spread this around but I've done that! total panic, but was thankful I was alone in the house when I remembered I'd unplugged it to plug in the vacuum! Loved your presentation of our all too human quirks - LOL Voted up, interesting, funny, and awesome. thanks so much for sharing this! Dotti
