Thomas Kinkade - Renowned Painter and NY Times Best-Selling Author

Thomas Kinkade, the painter of light, is known the world over for his beautiful paintings that are filled with warmth, light, and beauty. Every painting is a sight to behold and a treasure that is admired by people everywhere. No painting that you come across ever will leave you disappointed. I knew that Thomas Kinkade was a renowned painter. I have his calendars and a number of jigsaw puzzles of his paintings. I was pleasantly surprised to find that he is also an author - a NY best-selling one at that. He is an author of two series - Cape Light and Angel Island, which he co-wrote with Katherine Spencer.

One day, in the library, while browsing for something to read, I found a book, The Inn At Angel Island , with his name on the cover. I had no idea what kind of book this was. I thought that perhaps it was a book about him. When I flipped through the pages I realized it was a novel - a novel that he had written about Liza Martin, an advertising executive who came to Angel Island to sell an inn her deceased aunt had owned and run and left to her after her death...

I was instantly intrigued to see how the story would unfold. I took the book home and as soon as I began to read I found that I did not want to put the book down. It was just that good. I thoroughly enjoyed the read. I was moved and entertained and taken into a world I did not want to escape.

After reading this book I am now a fan of Thomas Kinkade as an author and plan to read all of his other books - the ones he has already published and those yet to come.
