Treasured moments.

Updated on June 2, 2017

It's so true we never know when that writing bug is going to raise it's head again. As many of you know I have gone back to work full time which leaves little time for writing and honestly thought that my finger tapping days were over until this morning when I had the strongest urge to switch on the computer and tap away, The words again simply flowed and the stress that has built up slowly over the past few weeks simply slipped away.

I look forward to catching up with old friends and also meeting new but am hoping more than ever that I can find a way of juggling working life and my writing because at the end of the day it is ME and will never ever truly leave. I suppose as my chosen song says if we believe anything is possible. Hope you enjoy the first poem I have written for a very long time.

The River Aeron.
The River Aeron. | Source

The smoothest of pebbles

the most silent of days

the coolest of breezes

my mind soon plays.

To believe is a gift

so treasured so true

a strength so immense

through and through.

Filling each heart

inspiring troubled minds

calming troubled waters

each problem unwinds.

Tempestuous emotions

that silent scream

thrown to oblivion

life's healing stream.

Those timeless dreams

unmasked feelings

sweet seduction

moonlit evenings.

Faithful forever

so fitting so true

nature's magical potions

I share with you.

Eddy, it's so good to see you back! Your latest inspiration is truly you - beautiful.

I completely understand your dilemma. I've gone back to work full time as well. My frequency of writing has suffered as a result. The last thing I want to when I get home from work - or even on the weekends - is fire up the computer.

Welcome back, I know what you mean by the tension building if you don't write, I get the same, and boy do I get grumpy!!

      Really enjoyed the poem here.

Perhaps for you, such a brilliant writer, like taking time to meditate, you were meant to relieve the whatever from the world by writing. And you should feel good about bringing joy to others.

And as for this wonderful piece - Lordy how I missed you.
