Troubled thoughts page22

Updated on October 21, 2011

Fabian Arellano

Simply remember that no two of us are alike each of us is special and unique.Even if we come from the same family. Don't try to push us into the stage you think we should be in. We probably won't like you very much. If maybe you could just step into my shoes for a moment you could just follow my lead. Allow me to teach you where I am in my grief. If you could just accept where I am it would be better. Let me know that you really want to understand. So many adults say they feel sorry for me but that's not what I need. I need to share my grief without the fear of being criticized or abandoned. Please don't misunderstand me.

What inspired you to write this? My second oldest boy. He has gone through so much anger since the loss of his younger little brother best friend. Being understood by many people on how he should be acting since the death of my son. It is hard for him to say how afraid he is of death. Any time one of us gets hurt he tends to think of lossing us. . Every other night he has ugly nightmares. He was there the day his brother was shot. He didn't cry like most he was so full of anger because his brother left him . He misses him so much!
