Twisted Love Poetry: You Will Remeber Me

Maybe I'm not that guy you were expecting
To most, I come as a surprise
Maybe it's the way I smile
Or that piercing look in my eyes

It's like I see right through you
To the real you deep inside
Like I can discover all your secrets
And there's no place you can hide

When you look at me, you can sense the danger
But like a moth drawn to a flame
I pull you in with my gaze
And make you unafraid to play my game

So we begin to set the pieces
Making moves like two masterminds
You keep trying to figure out my strategy
But I give no clue as to my designs

My only goal is to remain a mystery
To confuse, confound, and bewilder
Am I the man of your dreams
Or a really good lady killer

I guess you'll just have to keep making moves
See what this is going to be
But know matter the outcome, I promise
You will remember me
