Unchained

Out of this tunnel

brightness greets me.

Freedom, clarity,

are waiting to meet me.

Another world calls

for discovery.

As a child I am;

such joy it is to be.

Unchained traveler,

I am reborn.

Through new eyes I see;

no longer am I torn.

Wondrous dangers call

to be conquered.

I am fearless,

free, in flight, as a bird.

Don’t look for me;

I won’t be there.

This world commands,

away from ancient care.
