Walking Down That Beach
Walking down that beach in South Jersey
ready for the big moment with no mercy
I walk with you, nearing the breezy ocean
to tell you things... hmmm... that are very important
Up above over that rainbow
DRAGS itself... a plane with that sign
"would you be mine, would you be mine?"
She reads them as I thought
I kiss her lips and kneel down looking her immense love up there above
Taking that deep breathe and controlling myself, like a real man
I waited so long for this moment, here at Atlantic City
and express my feelings with this ring as it is being inserted in your fingers
But, oh oh God almighty... besides this ring being... a little tight
A passing dog think of me as a tree, not caring a bit, just taking his time
and squirts his second thought as easy as free.... on me!
His master comes too late to ask for apologies
I just dive myself in disbelieve into the waves
this way I can wash away this puppy's intentions
and you smile at me and join me in my own redemption
I finish my duty with you, as we swim into that ocean
we kiss and hug with deeper devotion
You accept the ring that I bought you at 'Zales'
suddenly we get a bigger splash this time around
it was a whale that came closer to us to celebrate in its own way
I took you out as my most precious catch
We laid on the wet sand, wrapping around
holding hands and blowing my mind
kissing like never before
making sure that dog is not near us anymore!
