Wish I Could Reach Out
WISH WE COULD...
Reaching out to others can be the best experience you can have in your life. Not Thinking for a second to put anybody down, but the world is stuck in a selfish life of its own. So much waste thrown on the basket bin and so much people in need of just a piece of bread. Sad that we might be living inside a bubble and not being concerned for a neighbor that could save your life when you less expect it. This piece of creativity is just that: Words that came from within and are there to be shared with our friends. Just thinking about how much we could give to people in distress, makes us shiver. For some reason we became kind givers and we want to share this inspiration, and maybe you can join us in this Journey...that could end when you less expect it.
Simples thoughts that came along
wishing to change the world
embracing it with love
the one that we received with amour
Wanting to reach out with a song
Waiting for that bitter sweet tune
words seem diminishing that pain
that we felt first hand in tropes
seeing people in despair
willing to share a life
that I want somehow explain
Coming from nowhere
connecting ourselves everywhere
having reached out to some
feeling the hand of God
when giving to a needing hand
heartbroken when not being able to reach
as many friends as we can
knowing those that spent another day
under that bridge of the damned.
more than enough with no job
coming back home saying sorry
to a loving wife with enough love
women with so much sorrow
Smiling to dreams that have been borrowed
kids turning into men
seeing parents like loyal friends
girls storming ways to help out
easily joining the wrong crowd
People having more than enough
leaving real joy for last
others not having as much
but enjoying their kids' laugh
being just a second of time in a lifetime
thinking we can live forever
forgetting to help a simple mortal
that has been shriveling near that Everest
40 billion on the bank
not giving away a damn penny
however leaving life in a blink of an eye
40 millions with no jobs
just tell me who is wrong
worrying about putting others down
watching your own kids taking someone's life before dawn
lying to others just to get ahead
crying on a parking lot near that hotel
where a daughter just met death
Karma at breakfast
results at noon
do your very best
before that movie of your life ends soon
call it bad luck
depending on how far you reach out
to this fellow from up above
search for that good deed
and your heart will be pleased
seems that we wanted to move our friends
who can follow us to the end
wanting to share a miracle
as we dot down the word with a pen
there is more to say but hey!
call it a miracle, how we ended up here
never intending to follow a plan
finding ourselves giving a hand...
