Brick Wall (Limerick)

Pick up my phone and call my best friend Ben

Hey bud guess what, something crazy happened

Contest I entered did win

Are you even listening

Then I realized phone call had ended

Have you ever had one of these moments? This happens to me all the time! It is so annoying! I will be talking to someone and then BAM! I turn around from what I was doing to actually make eye contact with them....and they are nowhere to be found. Some questions race through my mind.

How long have I been talking to myself?

Did he/she hear anything I said?

Or, I will be on the phone with a friend, and halfway through I will realize they are not even on the other end. How long had the phone call been ended? Usually this happens, because they lose cell service. At least this is what I hope! Maybe I do not have any friends? What ever will I do?! I am just "joshing" you!

This has happened to all of us at some point in our lives, and we just have to learn to live with it. But, it sure makes me think that I have wasted my breath!

The wall doesn't listen very well! He(or do we call the wall a she?) is not very talkative. In fact, now that I think about it, I have never heard the wall respond once. You would think the wall would have some decency? Nope! Walls these days are very rude! All they care about are themselves!

Let's start a petition, or perhaps even an organized riot! (Is that even possible, an organized riot?) Well, we could sure use one. Our voice needs to be heard! We have to come up with a clever plan to end this nonsense!

(A light bulb just went off in my head!)

Wait, I think I may have just solved our problems! Perhaps sunshine625 could write a letter to this infamous wall!
