We Are Precious in God’s Sight
Have you ever reflected on how Jesus sees you? What do you believe Jesus thinks and feels about you and the life you live? Based on God’s word, I believe Jesus sees you and me through the eyes of incomprehensible, sacrificial and redemptive love. We are precious in God’s sight. The following poem is my expression of how Jesus sees me. Please share a comment about how you think Jesus sees you.
How Jesus sees me
Jesus sees me as the Father's daughter, whom He died for that I might be saved.
As a much loved, unique, and new creation, I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
As a confessed and repented sinner, forgiven of past, present, and future sins;
As a sacred temple for the Holy Spirit, I am filled and self-controlled by Him, who dwells within.
Jesus sees me as one of God's chosen, set apart for His work to fulfill.
Justified by His grace and His mercy, I am a disciple doing God's will.
As co-heir with Him in everything, inseparable from God's love;
More than a conqueror in all adversities,
I am victorious through Him, who intercedes above.
Jesus sees me as a patient, who needs healing; as a woman, who endures and works through stress.
As a child, needing hugs of comfort,
I am a witness, who loves God and holds to His promises.
(I Peter 2:9) "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light."
Be blessed,
