What Kills A Man

Updated on December 31, 2015

Lamb - among wolves

Tare - among wheat

Hosts contemplating

Staggering defeats.

Yet men fall harder,

Struck down not by sword or spear;

- Or gun,

But by woven braids

And supple frames

At which they often leer,

By eyes and lips,

Lips that often kill

- At night...

      This can be said for men, too(grin). I guess it all matters about choices...Well done, dear Mordred.

      Yes,women but not portrayed as negative figures in general of course, this is not by any means sexist .Just showing how powerful a man's love for a woman can be.

      Your poem is awesome! It's just short but the message... oh how it tickled my mind! This is one of the poems I like here in hubpages. I really really really love your style.

      So, regarding the message, are you talking about women? What kills a man?---women? (or am I wrong?)

      This is really interesting.
