What are things you are grateful (thankful) for in your life?

Updated on May 7, 2011

Things I am thankful for in my life

It is not an easy task trying to tell the world everything in this lifetime so far that has made me not only very thankful, but happy, loved and emotionally complete all in one. I have to say first and foremost will be my wonderful family and my two very beautiful daughters. Having a childhood that had its ups and downs definitely made me appreciative of being a sister, cousin, aunt, mother, daughter, and granddaughter to all of those who I love and respect the most. My family is always there when you need them and yes like most families even when you don't. Another thing I have to cherish is my friends. They are the best, some of them quiet and reserved and others are loose cannons but each and every one of them are special and have some impact on my life or they would not be my friends. And I have to say to sum it up in short life's experiences are priceless. They say every day you learn something new, well that holds true in my book. I am grateful that I have learned not to have regret for my past mistakes only to take them as a lesson in life that was hard learned. I have learned to enjoy my life and take the bad with the good and just be thankful for everyday that you wake up alive, breathing and healthy.

Thank you Dorothhy0328. You write with such great sentiment. I must say that at this point in my life, I thank God for the good and bad things. Realizing that life comes with its ups and downs, as you said.
