When My Writing Just Has To Wait

Updated on October 10, 2011

It Is Just Not Going To Happen No matter How Hard I try

I start to write and all the words are spelled wrong

It is because for some strange reason I keep moving my hands to far to the left and every key is typed incorrect

When my eyes see spots that are not there

It has to be from steering at the overhead light looking for a bug

When my cat plops infront of me and his big butt covers my keys

My wife calls me to come and eat and I have stalled her twice

Now I know I have to go or else I have to face the silent treatment

Then explain why and why again

It is just not worth it in the end

When I have to get up early for work and I am need of some serious sleep

To my surprise we have to go to a party, out to eat or somewhere else I forgot

The occasional we have to leave early so we won't be late do to holiday traffic or an unexpected accident

A good t.v. program my wife taped for me I don't want to miss

Any number of chores that interfere with what I am trying to do here

A loss of power that ends any chance of writing unless the power comes back

I just sit and wait and wait

The occasional honey come here I am sure you want to stop typing....???

Then ofcourse the end is near when the silly little computer freezes up

So don't feel bad there will be a better time to type all the comments and stories that are waiting

Now is just not the time or the place to write

It's time we extend are day by adding a few hours. We can make it a six day week and gain four hours a day.I like that.I say we do away with Mondays and after a nice long weekend we go right into Tuesday.Thanx so much and have a super day.

Apostle Jack I like to think we do first things first and then there is the next category where we pick and choose which direction our life is going. From praying to learning a new skill or talent.Sometimes we just want to have fun with family and friends. Some people devote their free time to another job to bring in more money.I just love to let my heart escape into the world we have already traveled.Exploring what we have already seen and enjoying all the pleasures we already know.Thanx for sharing your thoughts on such a wonderful day.

I think we all fall into the "mistake category." It is just another job to do.
