Why is there no undo mode

   Why is there no undo mode
   
   why doesn't HP have  recovery/undo?  Twice I have lost writings while trying to edit, it seems that my edit function do not work and when I spend alot of time trying to get something to work, I end up doing an event that causes my writings to vanish

   Hello:
   
   I've had this happen to me a few times as well. While you are writing an article beneath your chosen title. You will be typing the content within the edit window. And sometimes you can accidentally delete the information by mistake. All you have to do is scroll all the way down the bottom of that open window and you will see an option to save draft. Click on that and the most recent draft that you had typed will be displayed...than click on that and voila you will have your writing reappear once again. What I usually do now, is type my article within MS Word on my computer and save it that way. Once I am finished I than copy and paste it into the edit window in hubpages.    Either I forgot recovery was at the bottom or never knew it, must be because I've not really done that much writing lately, either way, thank you, Jlbowen, for pointing that out...just think, I could have had more hair today..but, alas, it's too late, both for my head and the lost words...

   Actually it happened to me yesterday. HP has auto draft saving after a period of time. Of course, accidentally deleting the capsule (like what I did) is permanent. Well, it happens but don't worry about it. I do hope that there will eb those restoration button or another prompt like "Are you sure to delete and Yes & No button" in the future

   If I know what you're on about, you could try 'ctrl' and Z. I'm sure that usually 'undos' stuff till you're back where you want?
